Meet Shanelle
Shanelle Davis is a fine artist and muralist based in Kingston, Jamaica with a BFA (Honours) in Painting from the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing arts. Using a variety of painting and drawing mediums in her work, she portrays the natural essence of people, social and cultural society. Her art allows individuals to relate and consciously assess what makes them act and think the way they do. She encourages transparency and acceptance of faults and the necessity of change alongside self and community improvement. Furthermore she has voluntarily and commercially completed a variety of cultural and beautification murals across the island of Jamaica including St. Ann, Kingston, Falmouth and St. Catherine, for companies such as Kingston Creative, Pepsi, Grace Kennedy, Supreme Ventures and PBCJ.
